Though you might not see me in the clinic as much, I'm still working hard behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly.
I take great pride in helping our patients take charge of their dental health, and nothing makes me happier than seeing them leave our clinic with big smiles on their faces.
I have also completed my own Invisalign journey, feel free to ask me your questions about it!
When I'm not working, I mostly spend my time with our young daughter (keeping her out of trouble).
My journey from a dental assistant to an assistant manager has led me to expand not only my knowledge but also my horizons. It has given me the opportunity to make use of both my desire to help people and also learn new things.
Every person in the clinic plays an important role in a successful patient outcome. I have realized over the years that working together with the best people will make you feel rewarded when you have a satisfied patient at the end!
Outside of work, I spend time with my son who loves doing arts and crafts. I also love watching comedies and action genres on Netflix and if you need recommendations, I'd be happy to share my favorites with you!
In 2020, I started out as an intern at Dental Forté before converting to a full time dental assistant in 2021 while I was waiting to recommence dental school in Australia.
Here, I am able to put into practice and expand on what I have learnt, and I've come to realise that patient-centred care, anticipating patients' needs, and being empathic are just as important as strong technical skills and dental knowledge.
Now that school has recommenced, I return to Dental Forté whenever I am on my term break to continue my learning journey and to continue working with patients!
Endorphin triggers include: upcycling, discovering old films, and indulging in FOOD with friends, family, and my dog.
